GIF size limit

Compress GIF to 1 MB

Reduce animated GIFs to about 1 MB with palette, frame and dimension fallback while keeping the output animated.

ENGINE-ENFORCED · MAY FAIL CLEARLYBatch Img Tools enforces the configured deterministic constraints. It does not promise every combination is mathematically reachable; when constraints conflict, it fails clearly instead of silently changing another requested constraint.
1 MB ceilingThe tool enforces a 1024 KB maximum or reports that the current constraints cannot reach it.
Animation preservedFrames and timing are re-encoded rather than flattened to a still image.
Adaptive fallbackIf palette reduction is not enough, Batch Img Tools can sample frames and shrink dimensions.

Make an animated GIF fit a 1 MB upload limit

A fixed quality slider is not enough for animated GIFs because their size depends on frame count, dimensions and palette complexity. Batch Img Tools uses several compression levers together.

The default preset targets 1 MB, but you can change the ceiling, dimensions, color count, frame sampling and playback speed before export.

What you can do

  • 1024 KB preset
  • Palette reduction
  • Frame sampling
  • Dimension fallback
  • Batch ZIP export

One rule. Every file. One download.

Add your images above and run the whole batch in one pass — free, private, and exported as a single ZIP.
