How to Make Product Images Square with a White Background
Product-image workflows often combine three constraints at once: a square canvas, a clean background and a file-size ceiling.

A 1000×1000 or 2000×2000 canvas makes a catalog consistent, but the product still needs to fit cleanly inside the frame.
White background can be a real processing step
If the source already has transparency, padding is enough. If the background must actually be removed, use the background-removal step and preview the edge before exporting.
Compress last
After background and geometry are correct, enforce the final KB or MB limit so the exported file is ready for upload.
